Technical Engineer Sportswear Luxe Talent , an international recruitment and training firm specialising in Executive & Middle Management positions in the Fashion, Luxury, Retail, Catering, Hospitality and FMCG sectors, is looking for a Technical Engineer Sportswear M/F in Amsterdam . In our recruitment and training practice, we work with various companies in the uxury, Premium and Upscale sectors throughout Europe, where we have offices in strategic cities such as Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, Milan, Amsterdam, London, Lisbon and Munich. Description of the TE - Sportswear : • Technical product development with focus on product quality, fit, and production feasibility. • Preparation of technical documentation. • Evaluation of samples with structured reporting and actionable feedback. • Approval of development components. • Management of the full sampling process. • Supplier communication and coordination. • Use of quality manuals, PDM systems, and relevant design software to ensure process consistency and traceability. • Definition and application of quality standards. • Support of cost engineering efforts through analysis of materials. • Troubleshooting of technical challenges during development. • Cross-functional collaboration with Design, Sourcing, Buying, and Technical Design to ensure alignment across the value chain Requirements • 2 years experience in technical product development or garment engineering, ideally within sportswear or activewear across both men’s and women’s lines. • Solid experience working with Asian-based suppliers and understanding of international production timelines. • Teamwork skills, commitment, initiative, as well as an independent and structured working style. • Strong knowledge of performance fabrics, construction techniques, and cost management • Fluent in English; Dutch and/or German is a plus • Completed studies as a clothing technician / clothing engineer or a comparable degree program (such as Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Technology, Apparel Engineering, or Textile Science).
