Senior Travel & Business Expenses Analyst Key Responsibilities 1. Process Operations & Governance Oversee end-to-end T&E operations and expense management processes for assigned zones/entities within the BEST scope. Ensure strict adherence to L'Oréal’s global travel and expense policies, local tax regulations, and internal controls. Monitor expense report processing workflows, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and ensure timely resolution of complex employee queries. Serving as 1 st point of contact for less experienced T&E Team members. 2. Continuous Improvement & Digitalization Drive process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives within the T&E domain (leveraging tools like Concur, SAP, or internal platforms, cooperating with Delivery Excellence Team). Participate in global projects, system upgrades, and pilot implementations aimed at simplifying the user experience and increasing operational efficiency. 3. Reporting & Analytics Design, generate, and analyze regular and ad-hoc T&E reports (spending trends, policy compliance, top spenders, vendor utilization) for management review. Identify spending anomalies, potential fraud, or policy abuse, and coordinate with local finance teams for remediation. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and data reconciliations. 4. Stakeholder & Vendor Management Act as the primary point of contact for our stakeholders (Finance Directors, HR, Travelers). Conduct regular training and awareness sessions for employees and approvers on T&E policies and system navigation. Profile & Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: 3 to 5+ years of relevant professional experience in Travel & Expense management, Accounts Payable, or Corporate Finance, preferably within a shared services (SSC/BEST) or multinational environment. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data analysis). Hands-on experience with T&E management tools (e.g., SAP Concur) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP). Soft Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail. Problem-solving attitude and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
