Product Manager (m/f/d) - Automotive Industry From Luxe Talent, International Recruitment and Specialised Training Consultancy, we are looking for a Product Manager to join an International Automotive Company with office in Vienna . Your Profile: We are looking for a results-driven Product Manager to join our automotive import team. In this role, you will serve as the key strategic link between the international parent company, the global manufacturer, and the Austrian market, managing the full product lifecycle to support sales growth and strengthen market presence. You will act as the face of the product and the central expert for strategic and technical portfolio decisions. Key Responsibilities: • Product Strategy & Lifecycle: Oversee the full lifecycle of vehicle models, from initial specification and ordering through market launch to phase-out. • Manufacturer Liaison & Communication: Act as the main point of contact for the international manufacturer, managing technical product inquiries, coordinating updates, and providing regular reporting on local sales performance and market developments. • Market Analysis: Perform ongoing market and competitor analysis to identify trends and growth opportunities in the Austrian automotive market. • Pricing & Positioning: Define data-driven pricing strategies and commercial frameworks to ensure strong market positioning and profitability. • Go-to-Market Execution: Work closely with Marketing and Sales teams to support product launches and implement effective dealer-level rollout plans. • Inventory Management: Track stock levels and support efficient inventory management through reliable sales forecasting and demand planning. • Sales Enablement & Training: Serve as the local product expert, delivering product training and guidance to sales teams and dealers to support effective market execution. What We’re Looking For: • Education: University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline. • Experience: 3–5 years of professional experience in product management or a comparable role, ideally within the automotive sector. • Skills: Strong analytical capabilities and advanced MS Excel skills; experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is an advantage. • Communication: Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a high level of intercultural awareness. • Languages: Fluent in English; strong German skills are highly desirable for working with local stakeholders. • Travel: Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 2–3 times per year) for meetings with the manufacturer and industry events.
