Within Global Finance Operations, the Sustainable Finance Direction helps create the conditions that allow L'Oréal to pilot both Economic & Sustainability performance , which are becoming more and more integrated, together with Finance, Corporate Responsibility, Business & Métiers. From securing resources behind ESG targets and implementing robust norms and procedures, to ensuring auditability of our data and deploying Green Finance tools, the Sustainable Finance paves the way to achieve the objectives of L'Or é al for the Future and meet the challenges and ambitions of the Group in terms of ESG . The Sustainable Finance Direction is recruiting his/her Global Operations ESG Controller . The position is located in Paris area, France. Mission: Share and Drive ESG excellence with all Under the responsibility of the Sustainable Finance Director, the Global Operations ESG Controller is responsible for proactively controlling Operations Sustainability performance and managing on-time, qualitative and exhaustive Group ESG reporting . He/She will particularly support Metiers Operations and Finance Operations communities to reach ESG reporting Excellence and will have a strong focus on internal control and on performance management , making sure we allocate investments and resources accurately and correctly to reach our Sustainability targets . This is an exciting opportunity for an analytical and driven individual to business partner and support the different Operations functions on Sustainability. Reporting Direct reporting to Global Operations Sustainable Finance Director animated by Group Environment. Business partners Metiers Operations (Packaging, Sourcing, Supply Chain) and Finance Operations Teams, Zone Finance and Operations Teams. KEY RESPONSABILITIES Animate the Operations extra-financial reporting process
• Lead Finance Operations & Metiers Operations teams on extra-financial reporting
• Consolidate and control reporting quality on full extra-financial reporting scope
• Assist in the preparation and management of extra-financial month end process and monthly reporting indicators review for Finance Operations & Metiers Operations teams
• Ensure respect of Group standards with regard to guidelines, methodologies and Group best practices
• Support local teams with year-end external audit and Group Internal audit requirements
• Work on own Ad hoc projects to continuously improve internal controls / accuracy / efficiency of the Operations centralised reporting process Drive the Extra-financial Excellence of the Global Operations teams
• Follow and steer short term and mid-term Operations extra-financial performance
• Anticipate, manage, and timely communicate risks and opportunities to Operations teams
• Align Operations Sustainability teams and Finance Operations teams on common topics (CAPEX analysis, Roadmap consistency…) during Budget and 3-year plan processes
• Identify and gather local best practices and insights and spread them throughout the Metiers and teams
• Work on future proofing our processes and simplifying the way we work Support L4TF Operations projects and community
• Animate Metiers Operations community on reporting culture and change of extra-financial regulations
• Animate Finance Operations communities on Sustainability and extra-financial topics
• Participate in diverse L4TF & Sustainability projects of the Metiers Operations in co-development with other Operations teams YOUR PROFILE - To be completed by HR Experience of Internal/External auditor, Finance Controller, Internal Controller Minimum 5 years of work experience Environmental commitment / ESG acumen Ability to work effectively in an international and multi-cultural environment Strong cooperative skills in a matrix environment Impactful written communication / Fluent in French & English Analytics skills / IS and KPI appetence CSRD and Taxonomy knowledge are a nice to have Ability to navigate complex corporate environment </div
