Inventory Analyst Luxe Talent , an international recruitment and training firm specialising in Executive & Middle Management positions in the Fashion, Luxury, Retail, Catering, Hospitality and FMCG sectors, is looking for a Inventory Analyst M/F in Antwerp . In our recruitment and training practice, we work with various companies in the uxury, Premium and Upscale sectors throughout Europe, where we have offices in strategic cities such as Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, Milan, Amsterdam, London, Lisbon and Munich. Description of the Inventory Analyst : As a Inventory Analyst, you will be working in the following duties: • Strategic Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and implement strategies that drive sales growth and ensure to stay ahead of the competition. • Efficient Coordination: Oversee and coordinate inventory deliveries to ensure products arrive on time, keeping the supply chain running smoothly. • Negotiation and Budgeting: Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to ensure to stay within budget while securing high-quality products. • Product Research: Continuously research new products and monitor top-selling items to keep the inventory fresh and competitive. • Data-Driven Decision Making: Compile detailed reports on sales figures, inventory metrics, and stock levels, using this data to inform future planning and management reviews. • Financial Oversight: Implement and oversee financial procedures related to inventory management, ensuring accuracy and accountability. • Support New Store Openings: Facilitate the inventory setup and operational processes for new store openings, ensuring a smooth launch. • Vendor Relations: Maintain detailed transaction records and foster strong relationships with vendors to ensure ongoing collaboration and success. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various teams on buying strategies, budget planning, and inventory management, aligning efforts with overall business goals. • Leadership and Development: Manage and develop subordinate staff, offering guidance and training to help them excel in their roles. • Pricing and Product Guidance: Provide insights on pricing and product selection, supporting design teams and contributing to the broader business objectives. • Requirements • Experience: Proven experience in budgetary planning and retail buying, with a strong understanding of the retail landscape. • Technical Skills: Proficiency in software systems and Excel, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. • Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with various teams and stakeholders. • Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail combined with strong negotiation skills, ensuring quality procurement and budget adherence. • Passion for Trends: A genuine interest in product trends and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement in the field.
