Head of Finance - Textile - Braga district From Luxe Talent , an international recruitment and selection agency specializing in Retail, Fashion, and Luxury, we are looking for a Head of Finance for one of our clients, a well-established textile company based in the north of Portugal, to strengthen its finance team. Role Responsibilities: • Define and implement the company’s financial strategy, aligned with business objectives • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including management accounts and statutory accounts • Monitor and control costs, margins, and profitability, particularly within an industrial/manufacturing context • Manage cash flow, treasury, and working capital • Lead and develop the finance and accounting team • Ensure compliance with tax, legal, and regulatory requirements • Act as the main point of contact with external auditors, banks, and financial partners • Support the CEO and leadership team with financial analysis and business insights • Contribute to investment analysis, funding opportunities, and strategic projects • Improve and optimize financial processes, internal controls, and reporting system. Requirements: • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in financial leadership roles, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments. • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, cost accounting, and management control. • Experience managing teams and working closely with senior management. • Solid understanding of Portuguese tax and regulatory framework. • Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems. • Fluent in English (spoken and written); Portuguese required.
