Job Title: Facility Manager – Netherlands Office Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands Type of Contract: Permanent (CDI) Presence: 5 days a week on-site (flexibility required) Language: Dutch (fluent) & English (professional working proficiency) Who am I? Facility Manager role is versatile and covers a wide diversity of services. We are looking for a dynamic person with strong management experience and budgetary rigor to oversee all operations and ensure a safe working environment that fosters a great place to work for our teams in Amsterdam. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Management: Train and supervise facility staff to ensure high-quality work, engagement, and adherence to company standards. Lead, mentor, and develop a large on-site facility team within a fast-paced environment. Operations & Flow Management: Maintain and oversee the daily operations of all L'Oréal facilities, including the direct supervision of reception/security operations, cleaning services, catering, and related services. Ensure that all facilities are well-maintained and in compliance with safety and health regulations. Coordinate and oversee maintenance and repair work, conducting regular inspections to identify and address potential issues proactively. Monitor and manage facility budgets and expenses with strict financial rigor. Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of facility operations. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to facility management. Stakeholder Management: Act as a key coordination figure and primary contact between different divisions, internal communications, and catering services. Manage and maintain strong relationships with vendors and contractors for facility-related services. Collaborate with various departments to ensure that all facility needs and requests are met in a timely manner. Communicate and coordinate with Benelux Facility Manager to provide updates on facility operations and any necessary changes. Workplace Experience & Sustainability: Ensure a safe, compliant, and efficient working environment that is a great place to work for all employees. Continuously look for ways to improve sustainability and the environmental impact of facility operations. Flexibility & Agility: Handle any emergencies or unexpected issues related to facilities in a timely and efficient manner. Adapt quickly to a dynamic business environment, successfully managing diverse office flows and shifting operational priorities with a 5-day on-site presence. Profile & Requirements Experience: Proven management experience leading a substantial team within a fast-paced environment. Core Skills : Strong organizational skills, responsiveness, budgetary rigor, and versatility. Excellent interpersonal skills and solid stakeholder management capabilities. Dynamic, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset. Languages: Native or fluent Dutch , complemented by a solid command of English (spoken and written).
