Social Media Executive- 3 Month Maternity Cover

The Social Media Executive will support the planning, creation, and delivery of social media content across Ounass channels during a 3-month maternity cover period. The role will help strengthen brand awareness, audience engagement, and commercial performance by delivering relevant, platform-specific content that reflects our luxury positioning and wider marketing priorities. Working closely with the Social Media, Content, Creative, Brand, Commercial, and Digital teams, the successful candidate will contribute to an engaging and consistent social media presence across regional and international markets. What You’ll Be Doing • Supporting the development and delivery of social media strategies and content plans across relevant platforms • Planning, scheduling, and publishing engaging content in line with campaign objectives, brand guidelines, and trading priorities • Creating and adapting copy for social media posts, stories, reels, and other platform-specific formats • Coordinating with Creative, Content, Brand, Commercial, and Digital teams to ensure timely delivery of social media assets • Supporting the execution of product launches, seasonal campaigns, brand activations, and commercial initiatives across social channels • Managing the social media content calendar and ensuring all activity is delivered accurately and on schedule • Monitoring social media channels, responding to comments and messages, and escalating customer or brand-related issues where appropriate • Identifying relevant cultural, fashion, beauty, luxury, and platform trends to inform content development and audience engagement • Supporting influencer, creator, and partnership activity by coordinating content requirements, approvals, and publishing timelines • Working with regional teams to adapt content for local audiences while maintaining a consistent brand identity • Tracking social media performance and preparing regular reports on reach, engagement, audience growth, traffic, and conversion • Using performance insights to recommend content improvements and support ongoing optimisation of social media activity • Supporting paid social activity by coordinating assets, copy, and campaign requirements with relevant teams • Ensuring social media content is accurate, on-brand, compliant, and aligned with approved visual and verbal guidelines • Keeping up to date with platform developments, social media tools, and best practices to support innovative and effective content delivery • Taking ownership of assigned deliverables while contributing positively to the wider Marketing and Social Media teams What We’re Looking For • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or another relevant field • 2–3 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, content, or a related role, ideally within luxury, fashion, beauty, retail, or e-commerce • Experience managing social media channels, content calendars, and publishing schedules • Strong copywriting and editing skills, with excellent written and verbal communication • Good understanding of social media platforms, formats, audience behaviours, and content best practices • Experience using social media management, publishing, analytics, and monitoring tools • Strong awareness of luxury, fashion, beauty, retail, cultural, and digital trends • A creative and commercially minded approach to content development • Good understanding of social media performance metrics and the ability to turn data into practical recommendations • Strong attention to detail, organisation, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder-management capabilities • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment and respond quickly to emerging opportunities • A proactive, flexible, and solutions-focused approach suitable for a short-term maternity cover assignment • Proficiency in English What We Offer • Dynamic and collaborative workplace culture. • Opportunities for professional development and career growth. • Competitive salary and comprehensive employee benefits. • Employee discounts and access to exclusive product promotions.
