As Senior Designer Womenswear, you will support the Creative Direction and Head of Collection in conceptualizing and executing the women’s ready-to-wear collections. You will translate seasonal themes into innovative, commercially viable designs while ensuring uncompromising standards of craftsmanship and product quality aligned with the Maison’s unique positioning.
Creative & Design Development
• Contribute to the definition of seasonal concepts, creative directions, and mood boards for the women’s ready-to-wear collection.
• Produce detailed design sketches, flat drawings, technical specifications, and artwork/print direction for development teams.
• Manage color palettes, fabric research, and trim selection in coordination with sourcing, merchandising, and development departments.
Product Development & Fitting Process
• Collaborate closely with pattern makers, ateliers, and product development teams to ensure accurate translation of creative intent from prototype to final sample.
• Participate actively in fittings, identifying necessary adjustments to proportions, construction, fit, and finishing.
• Ensure all collection milestones and deadlines are met in accordance with the seasonal calendar.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Leadership
• Partner with Merchandising, Production, and Studio teams to balance creative vision with commercial requirements.
• Guide, mentor, and support junior design team members and interns, fostering high standards of execution and teamwork.
• Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activity, and technological innovations in luxury fashion and sustainability.
Education & Experience
Degree in Fashion Design, Fine Arts, or a related discipline.
5 to 8+ years of relevant design experience within luxury or high-end ready-to-wear Maisons.
Technical Skills
Mastery of garment construction, tailoring, draping, and luxury manufacturing standards.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and digital design tools.
Strong hand-sketching and visual presentation abilities.
Behavioral & Interpersonal Skills
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Culturally attuned, proactive, solution-oriented, and adaptable.
Fluency in English is mandatory
