The Wholesale Planner is responsible and
accountable for the 6-month Spring/Summer and 6-month Fall/Winter merchandise
planning and forecast by Sku for all styles in the wholesale collection for
Men’s, Women’s, Footwear, & Leather Goods.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
• Update seasonal forecasts
regularly in accordance to wholesale account projections, project launches and
seasonal orders during the start of market
• In partnership with VP of Sales, Wholesale
Directors, and Wholesale Controlling, develop seasonal merchandising sales plans
by gender and category to align the budget
• Collaborate with Wholesale
Directors on department store reviews prior to market and seasonal forecast
projections.
• Participate in department store
market appointments to gain product feedback and specific needs for each
department store
• Manage all forecast projections by
customer.
• Track wholesale order sell in vs.
forecast to audit styles oversold by month and/or completely oversold and
communicate all information to the wholesale sales team.
• Project
permanent replenishment forecast and communicate to Supply Chain.
• Manage,
analyze and Wholesale sellout data vs inventory on hand.
• Develop
and present recommended sku counts and class plans prior to each market launch.
• Partner
with Wholesale Operations to cancel orders due to being oversold
• Be
extremely vocal to highlight to senior management all red flags in terms of
planning, forecast and any situations that arise
• Perform
all other duties as assigned and required to support the Wholesale, Finance and
Ops teams.
• Adhere
to all global schedules and deadlines
• Monthly
analysis & reporting of external agent commissions.
