Conde Nast Traveller Editorial is looking for a Visuals Editor to join its creative team. The successful candidate will primarily be conducting extensive cross-platform visuals research, as well as assisting on global and local shoot productions as necessary. They must perform well under pressure and work proactively to always meet our tight deadlines; as well as being able to find solutions to any problems, and juggle multiple projects at once. A polite, professional and unflappable attitude is essential. The Visuals Editor reports to the UK-based Visuals Director and will work closely with editorial teams in the UK, US and other Conde Nast Traveller markets, as required. What will you be doing? Extensive visuals research across all Conde Nast Traveller platforms Work closely with senior creative staff, editors, writers, and other team members to understand visual/photo needs for assigned projects and prioritise accordingly. Assisting with shoot productions for global and local commissioned shoots when required Close attention to budgets Managing assigned visual research projects from planning through to delivery Managing contracts and fees within Content Planner, in partnership with operations, Conde Nast legal and business affairs teams. Who you are: Experience in photo/visual research and production or related field, with knowledge of various image libraries, stock agencies, photographers. Demonstrated experience in travel and lifestyle photography and illustration; Previous experience working on a travel or luxury title would be ideal Has established relationships with photographers and agencies A keen eye for photography and creative concepts Ability to manage tight budgets and deadlines Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, with the ability to edit and adjust images for a variety of digital platforms. Skills/experience with animation is a plus.
