SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
The
Associate Buyer (Temporary) leads the Men's Footwear team supporting execution
of seasonal merchandise strategies that align with Lacoste's brand vision and
business objectives. This role partners closely with Buying,
Planning/Allocations, Wholesale, Digital, HQ Merchandising, Marketing, Visual
and Commercial teams to ensure the successful execution of product assortments,
timely product launches, and inventory management across North America.
The
ideal candidate is analytical, highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate
about premium fashion, footwear, and consumer trends.
ESSENTIAL
JOB DUTIES
• Develop
and execute seasonal assortments for the Men's Footwear category.
• Analyze
sales performance, inventory levels, customer demand, and market trends to
provide actionable recommendations.
• Prepare
weekly and seasonal selling reports, including style, color, size, and category
performance analyses.
• Create,
maintain, and track purchase orders to ensure accurate and timely product
delivery.
• Maintain
product information, pricing, cost, and assortment data within merchandising
and Anaplan systems.
• Assist
in assortment planning, line reviews, product presentations, and seasonal
market meetings.
• Partner
with Planning to monitor inventory levels, replenishment opportunities, and
promotional/markdown recommendations.
• Collaborate
with E-commerce, Retail, Wholesale, Visual Merchandising, and Marketing teams
to support product launches and promotional initiatives.
• Support
sample management for meetings, photography, and product reviews.
• Stay
informed on footwear industry trends, competitive brands, consumer insights,
and emerging market opportunities.
• Perform
additional merchandising and buying responsibilities as assigned.
