1. Ecosystem Strategy
• Develop and execute an external partnership roadmap aligned with the company’s 3-year innovation roadmap, strategic priorities, and emerging market trends.
• Continuously scan and assess academic, startup, technology, and industry landscapes to identify new technologies, capabilities, expertise, and potential strategic partners.
• Work closely with the IP function to map and segment the external innovation ecosystem across relevant strategic horizons.
• Identify opportunities to expand innovation beyond the jewelry industry by leveraging adjacent industries, academic research, emerging technologies, and startups.
2. Partner Management
• Lead the scouting, evaluation, selection, and onboarding of external partners, including universities, startups, research institutes, technology providers, and industry partners.
• Develop and apply partner evaluation frameworks, feasibility assessment criteria, and innovation scoring matrices.
• Manage end-to-end external collaboration processes, including NDA, co-development agreements, governance reviews, and partnership onboarding.
• Serve as the central connector and coordinator for external innovation collaborations, ensuring alignment with project objectives, requirements, and timelines.
• Develop strategic co-development models to integrate external capabilities, technologies, and insights into Product, Service, and Manufacturing innovation.
3. Internal Collaboration
• Work closely with Portfolio Managers, PMO, and relevant business functions to translate innovation challenges and business needs into clear partnership briefs.
• Facilitate co-creation workshops, knowledge-sharing sessions, and joint development initiatives with internal and external stakeholders.
• Establish tracking mechanisms to monitor partnership progress and measure the impact of external ecosystem contributions against project outcomes and innovation KPIs.
• Identify capability gaps and recommend external partnerships or ecosystem opportunities to address business and innovation needs.
4. Platform Management
• Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of a centralized innovation ecosystem platform or database supporting initiatives such as Open Innovation, Innovation Summit, and Bottom-up Innovation.
• Ensure partner profiles, engagement history, scouting activities, collaboration records, and outcomes are systematically captured, maintained, and accessible.
• Enable internal teams to effectively use the platform to identify potential partners, track engagements, and access relevant knowledge and ecosystem insights.
• Leverage ecosystem data and platform insights to identify capability gaps, strengthen partner management, and scale successful collaborations.
We love that you are…
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Innovation Management, Technology Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in innovation, strategic partnerships, ecosystem development, technology scouting, strategy, or a related field.
• Proven experience in building and managing external partnerships with startups, universities, research institutes, technology providers, or industry partners.
• Strong understanding of innovation trends, emerging technologies, and open innovation ecosystems.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and translate them into business value.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and organizations.
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Experience with innovation frameworks, partnership evaluation, and project management.
• Proficiency in MS Office and digital innovation / technology scouting tools.
• Good command of English and Thai, both written and spoken.
