Description
The Quality & CSR Manager is responsible for
implementing and monitoring Lacoste’s Quality, Compliance, and Sustainability
standards across the India value chain (T1 to T4). Those standards are define
by central quality group in HQ Paris.
The scope covers garment manufacturers, weaving &
knitting units, dyeing mills, washing and spinners.
This is a field-oriented, execution-driven role requiring
strong factory presence, structured follow-up, and rigorous compliance control.
Key Responsibilities
1. Quality Control & Product Conformity
• Supervise
in-line and final inspections across factories
• Manage
and monitor outsourced QA teams (3 external QC resources)
• Review
and validate inspection reports from Factory Certified Auditors (FCA)
• Ensure
correlation between internal and third-party inspection results
• Organize
fabric and garment sampling for laboratory testing
• Review
lab test reports (technical performance, chemical compliance, cotton
origin)
• Monitor
product non-conformity rates and implement corrective actions
2. Factory Audits & Compliance
Governance
• Organize
and follow up on third-party audits (Technical, Social, Environmental)
• Ensure
full closure of Corrective Action Plans (CAPs)
• Deploy
and maintain the FCA network within Lacoste factories
• Monitor
audit coverage and compliance levels
• Ensure
supplier adherence to Lacoste Quality and CSR standards
3. CSR & Sustainability
Deployment
• Lead
and monitor Technical, Social and Environmental Audits of Lacoste
factories.
• Implement
the “Durable Elegance” sustainability roadmap across Indian suppliers
• Monitor
environmental performance (CO₂, water, waste, ZDHC compliance, no-coal
policy, SBTi alignment)
• Ensure
accurate data collection for traceability and environmental reporting in
Lacoste systems.
• Drive
supplier participation in programs such as Higg FEM, ZDHC, and related
initiatives
• Request and monitor
external certifications (GOTS, OCS, GRS, etc.) aligned with brand ambitions
