Description
• In line with BEAUTY TECH global and regional strategy, leads the Front Office & Retail technology agenda for LVMH Beauty Japan, connecting Digital/E-commerce, CRM & Clienteling, omnichannel and physical Retail
• Acts as the senior technology partner to the Digital / Omnichannel VP and Retail Sales Head, translating Digital growth, Retail sales priorities, store operational needs and Maison priorities into pragmatic technology roadmaps and solutions
• Responsible for local Front Office & Retail projects and for the Japan rollout of Regional & Central solutions, including requirements, fit-gap analysis, testing, go-live and post-deployment stabilization
• Ensures effective application service governance, with clear ownership, escalation paths and support boundaries across Local, Regional, Central teams and external service providers
• Leads and develops a mixed internal/external team, strengthening collaboration across Digital, CRM/Clienteling and Retail while building capacity for continuous improvement and transformation
• Supports budget, vendor and performance management for the domain and maintains the Japan Front Office & Retail technology roadmap
Business Partnership, Roadmap & Prioritization
• Act as the trusted senior Beauty Technology partner to the Digital / Omnichannel VP, Retail Sales Head and Maison leadership in Japan.
• Translate Digital and Retail priorities, store and Beauty Consultant realities and Maison needs into a prioritized Front Office & Retail roadmap.
• Stay close to Retail stakeholders and store users; challenge demand and link technology choices to customer experience, sales impact, Retail productivity, efficiency and business value.
Digital, E-commerce & CRM / Clienteling
• Lead local Digital and CRM initiatives around the LINE platform and related social-commerce capabilities, translating Japan business needs into technology solutions and improvements
• Contribute to E-commerce projects and support activities in Japan, coordinating local requirements and execution with Regional and Central teams who lead the platforms, products and overall roadmap
• Drive an integrated Omni-Retail and CRM approach, connecting E-commerce, CRM/Clienteling, LINE and physical Retail under one coordinated roadmap to deliver coherent customer journeys across digital and stores
Retail Technology
• Ensure the daily operational monitoring and service continuity of the Retail technology perimeter across 295 POS, including 28 directly operated boutiques, covering POS, store applications, Retail digital tools and department-store interfaces
• Partner with Retail leadership on store technology needs and coordinate local technology planning for store openings, closures, renovations and pop-up events, while supporting Beauty Consultant productivity and client experience
• Govern application, device and infrastructure dependencies, keeping routine L1 / onsite activities within the appropriate support model.
Local Projects & Regional / Central Rollouts
• Lead local Front Office & Retail projects and contribute to Regional Retail solution projects and evolutions in Japan, covering local requirements, testing, rollout and business coordination
• Define scope, resources, timelines and governance; oversee requirements, fit-gap, UAT, go-live and stabilization.
• Ensure delivery against agreed quality, budget, timing and business outcomes with clear management of dependencies and risks.
Application Support & Service Governance
• Own Retail application service quality and coordinate the support model across the Regional Service Desk for L1, Regional application teams for L2, the local proximity vendor for onsite interventions, and the local Infrastructure & Network team
• Ensure formal ticketing, monitor incidents and service KPIs, and drive timely escalation and resolution of business-critical issues.
• Promote monitoring, automation, self-service, documentation and knowledge transfer in line with Group security and operational standards.
Team, Vendor & Transformation Management
• Lead managers, project managers, specialists and external resources, setting clear accountability, priorities and development objectives.
• Manage key vendors and service providers with the IS Director, including scope, SLA / KPI performance, escalations, improvement plans and relevant budget follow-up.
• Foster collaboration across Digital, CRM/Clienteling, Retail, Back Office and Infrastructure; support innovation and future ERP / OMS interfaces.
Education
Bachelor’s degree required
Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related discipline is preferred
Experience
8-12+ years of relevant technology experience, including several years of meaningful team or managerial responsibility.
Strong Digital/E-commerce and CRM/Clienteling experience, including practical experience with the LINE ecosystem or comparable messaging/social-commerce platforms, combined with meaningful Retail/POS/omnichannel exposure
Proven delivery of complex technology projects, platform rollouts and transformation initiatives.
Strong business-partnering experience with senior Digital, Retail Sales and Maison stakeholders, translating commercial and operational priorities into technology roadmaps.
Experience working with Regional / Global technology teams and external vendors or service providers, including service governance.
Luxury, Beauty, Fashion, Retail or consumer-sector experience is highly desirable.
Languages
Japanese: Native level or excellent business proficiency (required)
English: Business-level written and spoken proficiency (required)
French: A plus

Business Partnership & Stakeholder Management, able to partner with senior Digital, Retail and Maison leadership, challenge constructively and translate priorities into pragmatic technology initiatives
Project & Transformation Leadership, with a track record of delivering complex cross-functional initiatives and platform rollouts against quality, budget and timing commitments
Team Leadership & Development, able to lead managers, project managers, specialists and external resources, delegate effectively and build accountability
Vendor & Service Governance, able to manage vendors, SLA/KPI performance and escalations while maintaining clear support boundaries and avoiding unnecessary absorption of L1 activities
Strategic Prioritization & Execution, able to balance business needs, Group standards, technology roadmaps, resources and delivery constraints while remaining pragmatic and results-oriented
Multicultural / Matrix Leadership & Communication, able to influence Local, Regional and Global stakeholders clearly and effectively in a multicultural environment
This position is employed by LVMH Cosmetics (LCS), the shared services entity supporting the LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics Group maisons in Japan. LCS provides expertise across Finance & Accounting, Supply Chain, IT, HR, Purchasing, Regulatory Affairs, and other functions for maisons including Parfums Christian Dior, Guerlain, LVMH Fragrance Brands (Givenchy Parfums, Kenzo Parfums), Make Up For Ever, Loewe Perfumes, and Officine Universelle Buly.
