Description
This position is employed by LVMH Cosmetics (LCS), the shared services entity supporting the LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics Group maisons in Japan. LCS provides expertise across Finance & Accounting, Supply Chain, IT, HR, Purchasing, Regulatory Affairs, and other functions for maisons including Parfums Christian Dior, Guerlain, LVMH Fragrance Brands (Givenchy Parfums, Kenzo Parfums), Make Up For Ever, Loewe Perfumes, and Officine Universelle Buly.
The Financial Analyst (Parfums Christian Dior) will assist the Business Controlling Manager in controlling and analyzing Parfums Christian Dior Japan business performance, with a primary focus on expenses analysis (below gross margin). Provide support to the local top management in the decision-making process and ensure adequate budgeting and control over expenses. This role will be reporting to Parfums Christian Dior Business Controlling Manager and located in Tokyo.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Expense Performance Analysis & Reporting:
• Conduct in-depth analysis and reporting of Advertising & Promotion (A&P) expenses, Operating Expenses (Opex), and other general expenses.
• Develop and enhance business follow-up to provide pertinent analysis and comparisons.
• Issue standard reports and proactively communicate insights to support management decision-making.
2) Budgeting & Forecasting for Expenses:
• Develop and lead the planning process for A&P, Opex, and other general expenses, including budgets, best estimates, and revised forecasts, in line with corporate instructions.
• Manage the Capex workflow, particularly for store project support.
3) Financial Closing & Control:
• Actively participate in monthly and yearly pre-closing and closing activities related to expenses, providing administrative support and adding further insights.
• Validate expense-related data and ensure accuracy in reporting.
4) Business Partnership & Project Support:
• Serve as a finance business partner, providing financial analysis and decision support to relevant teams (e.g., marketing, commercial, operations).
• Support the implementation of company projects related to Finance and Business Controlling (e.g., new tools/applications).
• Manage LVMH Research AIC business activities in partnership with LVMH Beauty Japan mutualized teams.
5) Operational & Administrative Support:
• Support and challenge marketing and commercial teams on financial assumptions and KPIs related to expenses.
• Conduct and manage the PCD Japan Family Sale in collaboration with local merchandising and suppliers.
• Contribute to general company activities and schedule necessary meetings as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: University graduate.
Experience: 3 or more years experience in financial planning & business analysis in multinational company. Knowledge in retail / fashion or FMCG is preferable.
Capability:
Strong analytical with a pro-active and problem-solving attitude
Strong Excel, Power point skills, BI a plus
Very good interpersonal skills and strong communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to develop good work relationships with all other departments
Positive mindset, proactive, agile, self-motivated and team oriented
High attention to details as well as ability to draw a big picture
Proficiency to tell the qualitative story behind the numbers by analyzing the data and preparing insightful visualizations
Ability to work under pressure and concurrently manage and prioritize multiple tasks/projects
Language: Proficiency in both written and spoken Business level English, Business level in both written and spoken Japanese (at least JLPT Level 1), Both Japanese and Non-Japanese welcome.
