Description
• Lead the purchasing strategy for a specific material category (leathers and fabrics, metallic accessories, other products), ensuring optimal contractual conditions and supplier base solidity.
• Ensure proper supplier capacity management, preventing risks of overloading or under-utilization.
• Align suppliers with the brand’s quality, sustainability, and innovation objectives.
• In collaboration with the Compliance team, assure suppliers compliance and performance through regular audits.
• Define and implement sourcing strategy for the assigned category.
• Negotiate framework contracts, prices, and commercial conditions with suppliers.
• Assess and monitor supplier production and quality capabilities.
• Identify and develop new sourcing opportunities aligned with brand requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Planning, Compliance and Quality teams to ensure alignment with objectives.
• Analyze market trends and supply chain risks.
• Prepare and conduct supplier performance reviews in collaboration with the Procurement Manager and other departments.
• Ensure the purchasing of materials for new collections.
Degree in Economics, Management Engineering, or related fields.
5+ years of experience in Strategic Purchasing, ideally in fashion/luxury.
Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
Knowledge of market dynamics related to the assigned category.
Strong command of Excel and Power BI (or equivalent tools).
English level B2 minimum; French knowledge is considered a plus.
