Description
As the Business Analyst VIE for the Americas, you will play a pivotal role in turning complex data into actionable insights to drive commercial performance across the region (North America, Travel Retail, and Latin America). Working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, you will serve as a cross-functional partner bridging Sales, Marketing, Finance, and regional headquarters. Business Performance Management • Maintain and enhance Retail Sales and Net Sales databases, ensuring rigorous analysis by country, channel, customer, and door. • Deliver accurate, timely monthly, quarterly, and seasonal sell-out and market share reports. • Prepare monthly flash reports and management summaries featuring insightful commentary on performance, trends, novelty launches, and key business drivers. • Track retail sales against targets, identify commercial risks and opportunities, and support action plan follow-ups. • Monitor core business KPIs and champion the development of automated, value-adding reporting tools. • Support cost control and contribute to a disciplined financial performance culture. • Continuously improve data quality, reporting efficiency, and process simplification across the region. • Provide ad-hoc deep dives to support strategic decisions and executive business reviews. Forecasting, Budgeting & Strategic Planning • Play an active role in budget, revised budget, forecast, and strategic planning exercises. • Consolidate inputs from markets and cross-functional stakeholders to support seamless planning cycles. • Manage planning templates, ensure accurate system uploads, and prepare submission materials. • Analyze core business drivers, including sales seasonality, door-level trends, stock holding, and investment areas. Cross-Functional Business Partnering • Partner with Marketing to analyze category performance and initiatives tied to core pillar fragrances. • Support E-commerce growth by reviewing retailer data, monitoring competitors, and identifying expansion levers. • Collaborate closely with Sales teams to analyze performance, track targets, and uncover growth opportunities. Qualifications & Experience Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Previous experience (internship or work placement) in data analysis, business controlling, or commercial reporting. Prior exposure to retail, luxury, or consumer goods industries is a strong advantage. Advanced Excel skills are mandatory (complex formulas, pivot tables, large datasets). Working knowledge of Power BI is a strong plus. Proven ability to translate raw data into clear, compelling, and actionable business insights. Fluent in English (written and spoken). Strong analytical mindset combined with sound commercial judgment and problem-solving skills. Highly organized, rigorous, and detail-oriented with the ability to manage competing priorities. Proactive, autonomous, and comfortable taking initiative in a dynamic, high-pressure environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with cultural adaptability and a collaborative approach.
