For our Milan HQ (Via Brisa 5), we are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist (temporary) to join our Finance team within a dynamic multinational environment. The successful candidate will support core accounting activities, ensure accuracy and compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations, and contribute to accurate and timely financial reporting, analysis and accounting operations.
Do you match this profile?
• 2 years of experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, or related field
• Knowledge and familiarity with local GAAP and IFRS is an advantage
• Strong Knowledge of main IT tools, in particular Microsoft Office
• Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
• Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

What do we expect from you?
• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, accruals, and general ledger postings.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes in accordance with ITA GAAP, IFRS and group policies.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements and group reporting packages.
• Ensure compliance with local GAAP requirements while aligning with IFRS reporting standards.
• Support intercompany transactions and reconciliations across multiple international entities.
• Prepare and review VAT returns and assist with other indirect tax filings.
• Provide documentation and analysis to support internal and external audits.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure proper documentation for audit trail purposes.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and corporate governance policies.
Base Salary: 27-32K
