WHAT YOU’LL DO We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Domain Architect to drive technical excellence in our SAP Platform Engineering team. As a Technical Domain Architect, you will drive technical initiatives, architecture design, guardrails and guidelines, innovation activities and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions across H&M SAP EWM landscape. You will also oversee the technical direction of projects, mentor team members, and ensure best practices in software development. You will play a crucial role in building H&M clean core architecture & methodology. The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience in technical leadership, a deep understanding of software development, a commitment to continuous improvement and strong sense of sharing knowledge towards others. In addition to the above, your role will involve: • Leading and overseeing software projects by collaborating closely with Product Managers, Business Experts, and stakeholders to define technical requirements • Providing technical architecture and development guidance and mentoring team members, ensuring high-quality, efficient code and adherence to best practices • Design and ensure implementation of scalable, reliable software solutions that meet project and quality standards, lead architecture design reviews with constructive feedback to drive continuous code quality improvements, and proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues to optimize performance and reliability when needed • Staying informed on emerging technologies and trends, proposing innovative solutions and improvements for the team • Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation of software designs, technical specifications, and processes • Fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team WHO YOU ARE We are looking for people with… • 12 -15 years of experience in SAP solutions - design and development • Excellent understanding of EWM processes and Designs including warehouse automations • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field • Experience in leading and mentoring development teams • Strong experience in SAP ABAP Development, object-oriented ABAP along with design patterns, Code Push Down, CDS, HANA Modelling • Strong experience in SAP BTP Architecture, Architect composable Event and API based solutions with BTP and on-premises systems • Experience in Clean Core Implementation, Application Extension Methodology, 3-Tier Extensibility Model • Strong Experience in ABAP CDS and AMDPs for effective data modelling and database management, combined with expertise in SAP BTP RAP (RESTful ABAP) and SAP BTP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) for seamless integrations and event-driven architectures such as Event Mesh and API Management • Knowledge on UI/Fiori would be an added advantage • Proficiency in unit testing with ABAP Unit and conducting code reviews for maintainable and high-quality code and performance optimization And people who are… • Collaborative team players with a problem-solving mindset • Passionate about building user-centric, reliable solutions • Eager learners, open to new technologies and development practices • Strong communicators who thrive in multicultural, cross-functional environments • Knowledge sharing through documentation and different channels which is core for you WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH You’ll be part of the SAP Platform Unit within the SAP Tech C4E, which is H&M SAP Tech innovation & architecture team. You’ll work closely with Product Owners, Functional Consultants, Integration Experts, and fellow ABAP Developers to co-create impactful solutions. Collaborate within an agile framework (Scrum/Kanban) that promotes continuous delivery, feedback, and iteration.
